bit away away from city overpriced meals regular room

the location was a bit away from the city. (i prefer it like that).

the meals were overpriced and not very appetizing. i also did not get the room i booked. i paid for a beautiful suite and was put in a regular room.

dining table hommy feeling excellent staff

The chef let me join them collecting greens from the garden. I also help with cooking and that gave me a hommy feeling. The long dining table allowed me to meet other guests, a very nice plus. The staff made this place wonderfull.

The wine cellar had a distinct damp smell. It was not pleasant and should be addressed. I think this detracts from what is otherwise a high quality offering.

The room was clean, I will say that. The staff seemed friendly enough, I guess.

The gym was a joke. Only one treadmill worked. The advertised 'stocked minibar' had just water and some soft drinks. I thought it would be better for the price I payed.

The food was amazing there. the staff was amazing, with a special shoutout to andrew, the hotel manager, and keith, our butler. the service was really good everywhere. the private cinema was a highlight. I loved it there.

My opulent garden suite had both indoor and outdoor showers. That was heaven. the bed was very comfortable. It really made a difference. the interior design was quite lovely, very pleasant to look at.
